This nation paid too large a price in lives lost, wounds to our troops (visible and not) and treasure in the 20-plus years of war under previous administrations. No one in the country – Trump voters included – voted to plunge the United States into endless, boundless conflicts like Iraq and Afghanistan, yet that’s precisely what is now happening.

To that end, we call on all policymakers and candidates to join us in saying:

No return of troops to Afghanistan
Immediately halt all plans and negotiations to send American boots back on the ground in Afghanistan.
End the march toward a costly and unauthorized War of the Americas, and military adventurism worldwide
Stop the illegal and unconstitutional strikes in the Caribbean on boats, and all plans for direct military strikes on Venezuela and elsewhere, absent consultation with Congress and a vote to authorize strikes.
Stop endless political deployments of the military into American cities – now
America is not at war with Americans.
